Meet Andrew Aitchison
Andrew Aitchison started AWA Legal in 2018 to provide NDA services to a well-known distressed debt investment firm based in Los Angeles, CA. Since then, AWA Legal's team of attorneys has grown to represent private equity firms, investment advisors, asset managers, portfolio companies, and small and medium sized businesses in a variety of contract negotiations and transactions. Before founding AWA Legal, Andrew worked in the private equity transactional groups of Goodwin Procter LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP in Washington, DC, focusing primarily on middle-market private equity transactions. He obtained his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2013 and passed the CFA Level I exam in 2017.
